First Painting of 2015

I finished my first painting of the year.  It took longer than I thought it would.  I always think things will calm down after the holiday season but it seems things are just as hectic after the first of the year.  I tried to make time for painting every day but every time I started painting something interrupted me so I never got more than an hour at a time to work.  I finally completed this painting yesterday.

This is a version of "Flight of Fancy" which I did in the past.  It is painted on an art board. The size is 21X10 with a depth of 1 1/2".  I don't have another project lined up for now because I will be taking a trip soon.  Once I get back I hope to have more time to spend painting.
