Paintings done in January 2022

The first painting I did this year is a 20X16 stretch canvas version of "Rooster Reveille".  I got a commission for this painting through the Owl & Rabbit Gallery.  This is one of my more popular paintings subjects.  I've lost track of how many versions I have done and sold.  Here is the newest one.

Another popular painting is Peek-a-boo Kitty.  I did a 11X14 stretch canvas painting to enter in a small art exhibition at the Burlington Artist League Gallery.

I enjoy doodling when I am watching TV.  Over the years I have filled many sketchbooks with doodles. Every so often I do a painting based on one of these doodles.  This doodle was the inspiration for my next painting.

This one is on 14X11 stretch canvas.  I titled it "Zig-Zag"

I also entered it in the BAL small art exhibition along with the next painting I did a few years ago.  It is a framed oval canvas titled "Monochromatic Floral"

When I finished the canvas paintings I turned my attention to painting 6 wooden plaques to take to the Owl & Rabbit Gallery for Valentine's Day.

During the month of February, I will be working on more of the hanging plaques and some smaller craft items.  I find these smaller items have a tendency to sell quicker at the gallery than my larger paintings.
