Horses, Peacocks and other things

I have four new paintings to show you along with a tray.  Some are new patterns and some are new versions of old patterns.

The first is called Contemplation.  It is a painting that I did in the past with a few changes made to the newest one.  Here is the original  painting that I did for a show in Tucson shortly before we moved to Michigan.

I did a new version to show at the BAL Gallery here in North Carolina.  There was one problem though, they have a no nude policy in the gallery.  The one above is a partial nude but I did not think it would be acceptable so I painted a dress on the girl in the new version.  Here is the new painting.

This next one is a new peacock pattern that I call "Posh Peacock".

I have a new horse pattern that is titled "Flirty Filly".

I recently sold my latest painting of "Mare and Foal" so decided to paint another.  It is one of my more popular paintings.

I came across a tray at a yard sale this past fall.  I covered it in butterflies.  It is similar to my "Flight of Fancy" paintings.

We have been keeping busy with more home improvement projects.  We are re-doing our upstairs guest bathroom.  Roger should be finished with the floor tile in a few days.  We also contracted to have the high divider between the kitchen and dining area cut down to counter height and had new quartz counters and a new sink and faucet installed.  I bought new bar stools on line.  When they arrive I will do a blog post featuring photos of both projects.

The weather here is in the 60's today and we were able to take a walk around the neighborhood.  The weather in Michigan was -20 last week with lots of snow.  I think we made the right decision to move to North Carolina!
