We are ready to start another new chapter in our lives. We have enjoyed every minute of our time here in MI. Being closer to family has been great but as we are getting older we thought it was time to get away from the long hard winters and move to more moderate weather and to do it while we are still physically able. Roger turns 80 this year and I am 4 years younger than him and we are both still healthy so now seemed the time to make the move.

In the three years we have lived in MI we have totally remodeled this house. I've posted photos of all our projects as we completed them. Now that the house is done we are ready to take on new projects in our new place. Although, I must say, this place is almost perfect the way it is so our projects will be minor. Once we make the move I will post photos. The house is the same size as our current place minus the basement. My art studio will be in the sun room at the back of the house which is full of natural sunlight. Roger's stained glass workshop will be in half of the garage which is what he had in the Tucson house. We are looking forward to this new adventure.
I had time to do three new paintings before I packed up all my art supplies. One is a larger painting of a Magnolia and the others are tiny paintings. One is a cross and the other is a magnolia.
I am so glad that I decided to work on tiny art the past few months. It is so much easier to pack up and move. I have started to give away my larger paintings to friends and family. I don't want to take them with me. I'd rather gift them to people. I am also going to donate all my frames to the art guild. I will start over with new paintings once I have my studio set up.
It will probably be a month before I do another post. I'll be off line for awhile.
