Colorful Painting

"Southwest Still Life"
16X20
I wanted to do another painting featuring a sarape and came up with this idea.  I combined the sarape with a pot of cacti.  It all came from my mind.  I drew it on a sheet of  paper and used transfer paper to put on the canvas.  I had to do a little readjusting with a chalk pencil until I got it just right.  I had fun with this one. I enjoyed doing the folds in the sarape and of course using lots of color.  I thought the white frame would set off the colors in the painting.  I am working on a couple more paintings now and will post when done.

Wishing you all a Blessed Easter!
